Why this dice roller

All 7 standard dice

D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 — every die D&D and tabletop games use.

Multi-dice rolls

Roll up to 10 dice of one type at once — perfect for fireball damage (8d6) or stat rolls (4d6).

Modifiers made easy

Add any bonus or penalty from −99 to +99; the breakdown shows the exact math.

Advantage / disadvantage

Roll a single d20 with advantage or disadvantage — two dice roll, the better (or worse) is kept.

Roll log

Your last 15 rolls stay on screen with full notation, so your table never argues about the last check.

Truly random

Uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator — fair dice, every roll.

Dice roller FAQs

What dice can I roll?
All seven standard tabletop dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 (percentile dice). Roll from 1 to 10 dice of a single type per roll.
How do advantage and disadvantage work?
For a single d20 roll, advantage rolls two d20s and keeps the higher; disadvantage keeps the lower. This mirrors D&D 5e rules. The option only activates for exactly one d20 — for other rolls it is ignored.
Is the dice roller truly random?
Yes. Rolls use the Web Crypto API’s secure random generator, which is unpredictable and uniformly distributed — fairer than most physical dice.
Can I roll with negative modifiers?
Absolutely — modifiers from −99 to +99 work, and the result line shows the full breakdown (for example, “rolls 4 + 5 − 1 = 8”).
Does it work for D&D?
Perfectly. Stat rolls (4d6 drop lowest is not automatic — just roll 4d6 and drop the lowest yourself), attack rolls, saving throws with advantage, and damage rolls like 8d6+5 all work.
Do you save my rolls?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser; the roll log lives only in the current tab and disappears when you close the page.
