Frequently asked questions

Will my PNG keep the transparent background?
Yes, as long as Transparent is selected (the default). The alpha channel is preserved, so logos and icons stay see-through. Choose Solid color only if you want to flatten the image onto a background.
What is the maximum output size?
You can scale up to 8x the SVG’s native size, or type an exact width up to 8000 px. Since SVG is vector, larger scales stay perfectly sharp.
My SVG has no width or height — will it still work?
Yes. The converter reads the viewBox to get the aspect ratio and falls back to a sensible default size when neither is present.
Why do custom fonts in my SVG look different in the PNG?
The browser renders the SVG with the fonts installed on your device. If the SVG references a font you don’t have, a fallback font is used. For pixel-perfect text, convert text to outlines in your design app first.
Is my SVG file uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your file never leaves your computer.
