Frequently asked questions

Is this image to PDF converter really free?
Yes. Convert unlimited images to PDF with no signup, no watermarks, and no page limits. Every feature on this page is free forever.
Which image formats can I convert?
JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP. PNG transparency is flattened onto a white background because the PDF pages use JPEG images. iPhone HEIC photos are not supported directly — convert them with the HEIC to JPG Converter first, then bring the JPGs here.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is assembled inside your browser with JavaScript, so your images never leave your device. That also means the converter keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Is there a limit on pages or file size?
No hard limit. Very large photos are gently downscaled to 2000 px on the longest edge so the PDF stays a sensible size — quality remains excellent for screen viewing and home printing.
What does “Fit to image” do?
It makes each PDF page exactly the size of its photo — no margins, no white borders. It is handy for full-bleed scans, artwork, and comic pages.
What is the difference between Fit, Fill, and Stretch?
Fit shows the whole photo with even margins around it. Fill scales the photo to cover the entire page area and crops whatever sticks out. Stretch distorts the photo to fill the page exactly. Fit is the safest default for photos.
Which page size should I choose for US printing?
Letter (8.5 x 11 in) is the US standard and the right pick for anything printed in the United States. A4 is the international standard used almost everywhere else, and Legal (8.5 x 14 in) suits long documents.
Will my PDF keep the original image quality?
Photos are re-encoded as high-quality JPEG at 93% quality. For typical photos the difference from the original is invisible, and the file stays small enough to email.
