Merge PDF Online Free — Combine PDFs in Your Browser

Drop in multiple PDFs, drag them into the perfect order, and merge them into one clean file. Nothing is uploaded — no signup, no watermark, no file-size games.

Step 1 — Add your PDFs
Drop PDFs here or click to browse Add two or more PDFs. They merge in the order shown below.

100% private

Most “free” mergers upload your documents to their servers. Here the merge happens entirely inside your browser — your files never leave your device.

No signup

No account, no email gate, no “one free merge a day”. Combine as many PDFs as you like, as often as you like.

Free forever

No watermarks on the merged file, no file-size limits beyond what your own device can comfortably handle.

How to merge PDFs online

  1. 1Add your PDFs

Drag two or more PDF files onto the box above, or click it to browse. Each file shows its page count so you can double-check you grabbed the right ones.

  2. 2Arrange the order

The PDFs merge top-to-bottom in the list. Drag a row to move it, or use the up/down arrows. Click the × on any row to remove a file.

  3. 3Merge and download

Hit “Merge PDFs” and download a single combined file named merged.pdf. All pages are kept at full quality — nothing is re-compressed or resized.

Features

Drag-and-drop ordering

Reorder your files by dragging rows, or use the up/down arrow buttons for precise control. The final PDF follows your list exactly.

Page counts shown upfront

Every added file displays its page count and file size, so a wrong file is obvious before you merge.

Full quality, no recompression

Pages are copied at their original resolution — text stays crisp and vector graphics stay vector. No watermarks are added.

Private by design

Unlike server-side mergers, your contracts, resumes, and statements are processed locally. Close the tab and nothing of yours remains anywhere.

Clear error messages

Non-PDF files are rejected politely, password-protected and corrupted PDFs get a plain-English explanation instead of a silent failure.

Works on any device

Desktop drag-and-drop, mobile tap-to-browse — the tool adapts to your screen and merges up to the limits of your device’s memory.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The merge is done by JavaScript running inside your browser tab (using the open-source pdf-lib library). Your files never travel over the network — this is the whole point of the tool.
How do I change the order of the merged pages?
The merged PDF follows the order of the file list, top to bottom. Drag any row to a new position, or use the up/down arrows on it. Pages from one file always stay together in their original order.
Can I merge just some pages of a PDF?
This tool merges whole files in the order you arrange them. To pick individual pages, use a split tool first (or the PDF Toolkit), then merge the pieces here.
What is the file-size limit?
There is no hard limit coded in — you are limited only by your device’s memory, since everything is processed locally. Dozens of normal-sized PDFs merge in seconds on a typical phone or laptop.
Does the merged PDF have a watermark?
No. The output is a clean combination of your original pages with nothing added. Text stays searchable, images keep their quality.
Why was my file rejected?
Three usual reasons: the file is not actually a PDF (wrong extension or content), it is password-protected (remove the password first), or it is corrupted. The error message tells you which one it is.
Can I remove a file after adding it?
Yes — click the × button on any row to remove that file. “Clear all” empties the whole list so you can start over.
