Your temporary email address

generating…

Use this address anywhere you would rather not give your real email. Reloading this page creates a new address automatically — the old one (and its emails) is abandoned.

Inbox

Checking for mail…
No emails yet.
Send something to your temp address — the inbox checks automatically every 10 seconds.
Your emails will appear on the left.
Click any message to read it here.
Read this first: a temp inbox is public — anyone who knows this exact address can read its emails, and messages are deleted automatically after a while. Never use temp mail for banking, main social accounts, or anything sensitive, and never for a password reset you will need later.
No signup

No account, no password, no personal details. Your address is a random name generated in your browser.

Live inbox

The inbox polls for new mail every 10 seconds, so verification emails show up on their own.

Free forever

Unlimited addresses and unlimited inbox checks — no credits, no premium tier, no catch.

How to use temp mail

  1. 1Copy your address

A random address is generated as soon as the page loads. Hit "Copy address" and paste it wherever a site asks for an email.

  2. 2Use it for the signup

Register, request the download, or trigger the verification email — it lands in this inbox, not your real one.

  3. 3Read it here

The inbox refreshes every 10 seconds. Click a message to read the full email, links and codes included.

  4. 4Walk away

Done? Close the tab or hit "New address". Reloading the page also hands you a fresh address automatically.

Why use this temp mail generator

A new address on every visit

There is nothing to set up. Each page load (and each refresh) generates a fresh disposable address, so you always start clean.

Real, working inbox

This is not a fake address mockup — mail sent to your address is genuinely received and readable here within seconds.

Full email reading

Open messages to see the complete email, rendered safely in a sandbox so tracking scripts and nasties in mail cannot run.

Keeps your real inbox clean

Newsletters, trial signups, and one-off downloads go to the temp address. Your real email stays off marketing lists.

No password to leak

There is no account and no login tied to you — nothing to hack, reset, or connect back to your identity.

Temp mail FAQs

What is a temporary (disposable) email address?
It is a throwaway inbox you can use instead of your real email for one-off signups, downloads, and trials. It receives real mail, but it is not linked to you, and you abandon it when you are done — so spam and marketing mail never reach your real inbox.
Why did I get a different address when I refreshed?
That is by design. Every page load generates a brand-new random address, exactly like refreshing temp-mail.org. If you were waiting for an email, do not refresh — the old address and its inbox are gone. Use the "Refresh inbox" button instead, which keeps your address.
How long do the emails stay in the inbox?
Messages are kept only for a short time and are deleted automatically by the mail service (typically within a day or so, sometimes sooner). Treat temp mail as read-it-now: copy any code or link you need right away.
Is temp mail private?
It is anonymous — no signup and nothing ties the address to you — but it is NOT confidential. The inbox is public: anyone who knows or guesses the exact address can read its mail. Never use it for sensitive accounts, financial services, or important password resets.
My verification email never arrived. Why?
Three usual causes: the site blocks disposable domains (many banks, social networks, and some signup forms reject @maildrop.cc addresses), the email is simply slow (wait 30–60 seconds — the inbox auto-checks every 10 seconds), or the sender never actually sent it. If a site refuses the address, that service requires a real mailbox.
Can I send emails from this address?
No. This inbox is receive-only, which is standard for disposable email. Sending is what your real mail account is for.
Can I choose my own address name?
Not in this generator — addresses are random on purpose, which keeps them hard to guess. A new random address is one click (or one page refresh) away.
