    Features

    GA4-ready URLs

Builds properly formatted utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content parameters that Google Analytics 4 picks up automatically.

    One-click presets

Quick-fill buttons for Email Newsletter, Facebook Ad, Google Organic, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn fill in sensible source/medium values instantly.

    Lowercase enforcement

GA4 treats “Email” and “email” as different campaigns. The optional toggle lowercases every value so your reports stay clean.

    Smart ? and & handling

Already have query parameters on your URL? The builder appends UTMs with & instead of a second ?, so the link never breaks.

    Session history

Save every URL you build into a session list, copy any of them again, or copy them all at once when you are done tagging.

    Automatic URL-encoding

Spaces and special characters in campaign names are encoded correctly, so “summer sale” becomes “summer%20sale” and never breaks the link.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is a UTM parameter?
UTM parameters are short tags added to a URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) that tell Google Analytics exactly where each visitor came from. Marketers add them to ad links, email links, and social posts so every channel can be measured.
    Which UTM parameters are required?
Google Analytics 4 needs utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign to attribute a visit properly. utm_term (for paid keywords) and utm_content (to tell apart links in the same email or ad) are optional but useful for deeper analysis.
Why should I lowercase my UTM values?
Google Analytics is case-sensitive: “Email”, “email” and “EMAIL” show up as three separate mediums in your reports. Lowercasing everything keeps your data clean and comparable, which is why this builder does it by default.
What is the difference between utm_source and utm_medium?
Source is the specific site or sender (facebook, newsletter, google). Medium is the channel type (cpc for paid ads, email, organic, social). So a Facebook ad is source=facebook and medium=cpc, while a Facebook post is source=facebook and medium=social.
Do UTM parameters affect my page load or SEO?
No. UTMs are only used for tracking. Search engines generally ignore them, and they add nothing visible to the page — visitors see the same content either way.
Can I tag a URL that already has ? or & in it?
Yes. If your URL already contains a ?, the builder appends UTMs with & automatically. If it has no query string, it starts with ?. You never get a broken double-? link.
Is my data safe? Where do the URLs go?
The URL is assembled entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, stored, or shared. Your campaign names and links never leave your device.
Do I need to shorten the UTM URL?
For ads and social posts, shorter looks cleaner, but the tracking works on the full URL. If you use a shortener, shorten the fully tagged URL (not the untagged one) so the UTMs survive the redirect.
