Why creators use this PFP maker

True drag-to-position cropping

Grab the photo and slide it around inside the circle with live feedback — no blind coordinate guessing.

Smooth zoom control

Fine 1x–3x zoom via slider or scroll wheel, so group shots and wide photos frame perfectly.

Transparent or white export

Download a true transparent-background PNG for overlays, or a clean white-backed circle for classic avatars.

Platform-perfect sizes

One-click presets at 512px for Discord, 320px for Instagram, and 200px for TikTok — no resizing guesswork.

WYSIWYG round preview

A live circular preview shows exactly how your PFP will look on the platform before you download.

Private by design

Canvas-based and fully client-side. Your face never touches a server, which matters for a profile photo tool.

Circle PFP FAQs

What size should my Discord profile picture be?
Discord displays avatars at 128px but accepts much larger uploads — 512 × 512 PNG is the sweet spot for a sharp avatar on every screen. Select the “Discord · 512” preset above and your export is ready to upload.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The cropper runs entirely in your browser using canvas — your image is read locally and never sent anywhere. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
Transparent or white background — which should I choose?
Transparent keeps only the circular photo with see-through corners, which blends into any app theme and works for overlays and thumbnails. White gives you a classic solid circle that looks identical everywhere. Discord, Instagram, and TikTok all mask avatars into circles anyway, so either works — transparent is more flexible.
What image formats can I upload?
JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF all work. For animated GIFs, the crop uses the first frame. Very large photos are fine — the cropper downsamples them to your chosen export size automatically.
Why does my profile picture look blurry after uploading?
Blur usually comes from uploading a small source image that the platform stretches. Start with the largest original photo you have, export at 512px here, and let the platform downscale — downscaling always looks sharper than upscaling.
Can I use this for TikTok and Instagram too?
Yes. Use the 320px preset for Instagram and the 200px preset for TikTok — both platforms display round avatars, and the live preview shows you exactly what followers will see.
